Tim Ford, Live Well Training

Staying fit and healthy has always been a big part of my life. I have always been involved in sport in some way and I have learnt that being healthy often leads to being happy.

More About Tim

Having gained a degree in Psychology I then went on to work in the NHS for many years, helping others to improve their health, and in particular their emotional well-being. Whilst adding to my experience and qualifications at work, I started to run outside of work as a way of keeping fit and relieving stress, and to do something different from the gym. I began to notice the true benefits of exercise and came to realise the importance of looking after both the body and the mind.

In the past few years this led me to becoming a REPS certified personal trainer. I love a wide variety of sports, but particular interests include football, cycling, triathlon, running and, of course, working out!

To me, optimal health is the combination of a healthy body and a healthy mind. I believe that exercise should be fun and rewarding and I don’t subscribe to fad diets that don’t last. I believe in making the most of our time on Earth and living life to the full.

I am passionate about what I do and dedicated to helping others reach their full potential. I love the feeling of seeing people achieve their goals.
